Building the studio pt.1

I’ll try as I go through this project to post regular updates or at least some sort of updates I say that laughing but I’ll do my best.

A number of years ago I worked at a recording studio and that building was really cool. It was supposedly built on four or five separate foundations. The walls were double thick brick walls. I’m pretty sure a hand grenade could go off in one room and you would not feel it or hear it in any way in any of the other rooms. It was really cool..

Currently, the building is now a doctors office. It is no longer a recording studio so what I am trying to do is gather all of the photos that I have of this cool building and I have a few pieces of a floor plan in very low resolution, but they were very helpful And I’m trying to re-create this recording studio as a 3-D model that someone could walk through and take a tour of it either on a mobile device web browser or in VR.

I’m using Gravity Sketch in VR to recreate this amazing space. The building, having double walls, and separate foundations make it a little challenging but really cool to go after. I’ll be posting more updates on here as I go. Putting this all together has been a process. I’ll share what I can!
